If you are looking for a very nice place to stay without breaking the bank South Point is it! We did not use the shuttle service, but there is one available. The hotel location is a little out of the way from most of the main strip activities, but everything you need is right there on the property. The buffet had a nice assortment of items,and there is a buy-one-get-one coupon in the booklets available to hotel guests at the front desk. The fish and chips served at the oyster bar were made with real filets of fish, not the bread-laden stuff served often in other places. Both restaurants were clean, and the food was good. We ate at the Oyster Bar and at the Buffet while we were there. The bed, Ah the bed! Details were made to provide a bed that has a very comfortable mattress, pillows and bedding. The bathroom was spotlessly clean as well. I was very impressed by the size of the bathroom as well, easily two people can use it at once. The room was very clean, and a very large size compared to other rooms in the area. My husband and I arrived to South Point from McCarren Airport, which is only 6 miles away and were warmly greeted by the front desk staff who were prompt and courteous.
